The Opportunity
The DevOps Manager will be the primary technical contact for all internal teams to ensure BCP/DR, Security and Data Privacy and Protection is maintained at all times in line with industry standards and best practices in financial services.
What You Will Do
Reporting to the VP, Digital Product Development, the DevOps Manager will:
- Collaborate with local and global DevOps resources, and to directly manage Canadian environments- Designing and deploying auto-scaling infrastructure to minimize costs and maximize scalability and reliability- Deploy tools and infrastructure required to support Digital Delivery Pipeline in a CI/CD Environment-
- Design processes allowing daily or more frequent deployments- Participate in continuous monitoring and continuous testing pipelines (CT)- Lead development team in ensuring timely and efficient deployment of code using blue/green for deployment techniques or red/black for container deployments- Ensure all releases go through appropriate levels of review and approval-
- Design, maintain and test technical disaster recovery infrastructureWhat We’re Looking For- 5+ years of experience in relevant areas including 3+ years of experience in DevOps in the AWS space- University Degree, with a focus in Engineering, IT-related disciplines, or Computer Science- AWS Certifications is a bonus
What You Will Bring-
- Experience and knowledge in deploying source code management, testing and deployment orchestration tools (e.g. Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, Cypress, etc.)- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team environment- Aptitude to rationalize decisions and reach consensus
