Role Description This full-time on-site role, located in Toronto, ON, offers an opportunity for a Senior Staff Accountant to contribute significantly to our accounting and consulting services. Responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, overseeing payroll processes, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations and filings. The role also involves reconciling bank and general ledger accounts, performing financial reporting, coordinating audit procedures, and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy across accounting operations. Qualifications Proficiency in Accounting principles, including financial statement preparation, account reconciliation, and payroll management Experience with Tax compliance, regulatory reporting, and practical knowledge of Canadian tax laws Familiarity with Accounting Software and Financial Management tools Strong Analytical, Problem-Solving, and Attention to Detail skills Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and the internal team Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA designation or working towards CPA is an asset) 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in public practice or consulting Ability to work on-site in Toronto, ON #J-18808-Ljbffr
