Job Description

As a Business Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in identifying potential clients, engaging them through strategic sales initiatives, and securing sales to achieve revenue targets. Your focus will be on building long-term customer relationships by understanding their marketing challenges and offering tailored solutions that enhance their communication strategies.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and target new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and lead generation efforts.
  • Perform product demonstrations to highlight the capabilities and benefits of our email marketing platform.
  • Understand customer needs to effectively recommend solutions that align with their marketing goals.
  • Negotiate terms and close deals to maximize revenue while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and regularly report to management on sales activities and projections.
  • Collaborate with customer support and product teams to ensure client needs are met and to foster customer retention.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and marketing technologies.


Requirements

  • Proven success in B2B sales, particularly within the marketing technology or SaaS industry.
  • Excellent business network (an asset)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing strong relationships and closing deals.
  • Experience with CRM platforms and sales management tools.
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles from prospecting to closing.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
