Demolition Worker

Overview:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Demolition Worker to join our team. As a Demolition Worker, you will be responsible for assisting In the demolition and removal of structures, ensuring safety protocols are followed throughout the process.Duties:- Perform demolition tasks according to project specifications and safety guidelines- Perform demolition tasks, including dismantling structures, removing debris, and clearing the site- Use hand and power tools to dismantle structures, including electrical and welding equipment- Operate power tools and equipment necessary for demolition work- Safely remove debris & dispose of debris and waste materials in accordance with regulations- Follow instructions from supervisors and work collaboratively with team members- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition- Adhere to project timelines and deadlinesNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may be required to perform other duties as assigned by their supervisor as pertaining to the scope of work.Experience:To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:-Valid G Drivers License with a Clean Driver's Abstract / Own Vehicle and Ability to travel daily within the Region and neighboring regions- 2+ years Previous experience in demolition or related field is preferred- Knowledge of electrical systems and welding techniques is a plus- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety- Previous experience in demolition or related construction work preferred- Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in demolition work- Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols for handling hazardous materials- Ability to read blueprints and schematics is a plus- Experience with cabinet installation, tile laying, flooring installation, or construction estimating is beneficial- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periodsBenefits:-We offer competitive pay rates based on experience and skills.If you have the skills and experience required for this position, we would love to hear from you.
