Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Demolition Worker to join our team. As a Demolition Worker, you will be responsible for assisting in the demolition and removal of structures, ensuring safety protocols are followed throughout the process.

**Duties**:

- Perform demolition tasks according to project specifications and safety guidelines
- Perform demolition tasks, including dismantling structures, removing debris, and clearing the site
- Use hand and power tools to dismantle structures, including electrical and welding equipment
- Operate power tools and equipment necessary for demolition work
- Safely remove debris & dispose of debris and waste materials in accordance with regulations
- Follow instructions from supervisors and work collaboratively with team members
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines

**Experience**:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:

- Valid G Drivers License with a Clean Driver's Abstract / Own Vehicle and Ability to travel daily within the Region and neighboring regions
- 2+ years Previous experience in demolition or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of electrical systems and welding techniques is a plus
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Previous experience in demolition or related construction work preferred
- Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in demolition work
- Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols for handling hazardous materials
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics is a plus
- Experience with cabinet installation, tile laying, flooring installation, or construction estimating is beneficial
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods

**Benefits**:

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Construction: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- G Driver's License (required)
- Working at Heights Certificate (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 100% (required)

Work Location: On the road
