Key Responsibilities Coordinate engineering design activities for station projects, including scope development, scheduling, and resource planning. Support project managers and design leads in tracking progress, managing documentation, and facilitating communication across multidisciplinary teams. Assist in preparing and reviewing technical documentation, including design packages, drawings, specifications, and reports. Monitor project milestones and deliverables, ensuring timely completion and compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g., Protection & Control, Civil, Structural, and Electrical teams) and external consultants to ensure alignment on design objectives. Organize and participate in design review meetings, site visits, and project status updates. Maintain project records, including schedules, budgets, risk registers, and change logs. Support procurement activities by coordinating with vendors and preparing technical input for RFPs and contracts. Identify and elevate risks or issues that may impact project timelines or quality. Qualifications Post-secondary education in Engineering Technology, Project Management, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in engineering coordination or project support, preferably in the utility or infrastructure sector. Familiarity with electrical station design, transmission/distribution systems, or related engineering disciplines. Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and document control systems. Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, or other design software is an asset. PMP or CAPM certification is considered an asset. Working Conditions Mostly office-based role, flexible hybrid, with occasional travel to station sites or project locations.
