Position Summary:
As our IT Infrastructure Specialist, you'll work under the IT Infrastructure Manager, focusing on key areas of our IT infrastructure. Your role is pivotal in maintaining, optimizing, and securing our IT systems, providing the technical backbone for our subsidiaries' operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage IT systems, including servers, network devices, and software applications.
- Configure and maintain network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls), ensuring network security and efficiency.
- Provide Level 2 and 3 technical support, resolving complex issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for IT project implementation and infrastructure upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and standards.
- Participate in and provide input to system architecture design, planning, and implementation of new systems.
Technical Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Relevant industry certifications are an asset.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in IT infrastructure roles with hands-on experience in:
- Configuring and troubleshooting network equipment, including switches and firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco, MikroTik). Extensive knowledge of IP, WAN, LAN, and VPN technologies.
- Working with Windows Server environments (2008 - 2022), Azure cloud services, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- 2+ years of previous experience in Microsoft Azure and MS 365 administration and deployment
- Experience with SAN, NAS, Azure storage and Veaam backup system
- Implementing and managing cybersecurity measures and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical scenarios.
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on customer service and team collaboration
Work Location:
Full-time position in either the Greater Montreal Area or Mississauga. This is primarily an on-site position with the possibility of some remote work, with the latter subject to company policies and project requirements.

Principales responsabilités
- Administrer et gérer les systèmes informatiques, y compris les serveurs, les dispositifs de réseau et les applications logicielles.
- Configurer et entretenir les équipements de réseau (commutateurs, routeurs, pare-feu), en veillant à la sécurité et à l'efficacité du réseau.
- Fournir une assistance technique de niveau 2 et 3, en résolvant les problèmes complexes dans les meilleurs délais.
- Collaborer avec les fournisseurs et les équipes internes pour la mise en œuvre des projets informatiques et les mises à niveau de l'infrastructure.
- Veiller au respect des politiques et des normes en matière de cybersécurité.
- Participer et contribuer à la conception de l'architecture du système, à la planification et à la mise en œuvre de nouveaux systèmes.
Compétences techniques et expérience :
- Baccalauréat ou diplôme en informatique ou dans un domaine connexe. Les certifications industrielles pertinentes sont un atout.
- Au moins trois ans d'expérience dans des fonctions liées à l'infrastructure informatique, avec une expérience pratique dans les domaines suivants:
- Configuration et dépannage des équipements de réseau, y compris les commutateurs et les pare-feu (Fortinet, Cisco, MikroTik). Connaissance approfondie des technologies IP, WAN, LAN et VPN.
