Role Overview As an Implementations Specialist, you will join Verto’s Clinical Implementations team and play a critical role in optimizing and deploying the Verto platform across diverse clinical environments. This is a highly visible, customer‑facing role at the intersection of clinical workflows, technology, and change management. You will work directly with physicians, specialists, clinical staff, administrators, patients, and caregivers to assess workflows, gather requirements, configure solutions, and support successful rollouts. This position is for an early‑to‑mid‑career health informatics or clinical technology professional who thrives in fast‑paced environments and can shift between clinical requirements gathering, basic project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and hands‑on implementation. It is a maternity‑leave coverage position offered as an indefinite‑term contract. What You’ll Do Project Management Lead planning and implementation of clinical and health‑IT projects Manage project plans, timelines, and KPIs to ensure delivery Identify risks, manage issues, and drive mitigation strategies Act as a change agent and primary contact for stakeholders Support solution design and configuration of Verto products based on client needs Customer and Stakeholder Engagement Conduct clinical and operational requirements gathering to understand client workflows Act as liaison between customers and internal teams—product, engineering, and support Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders Manage client escalations and ensure transparent, timely communication Facilitate regular project meetings, kick‑offs, training sessions, and close‑outs with clarity and confidence Quality Assurance Build basic test plans and carry out solution testing to maintain quality standards Oversee issue prioritization, feature requests, and resolution tracking during implementations Clinical Implementations Lead identification, development, planning, implementation, and sustainment of clinical IT solutions Analyze clinical workflows and develop supporting documentation and process models Develop client‑facing training materials—QRGs, videos, user guides—to ensure adoption Knowledge Sharing and Enablement Develop internal implementation documentation including guides, demos, and training materials Support continuity and succession planning by sharing implementation knowledge across teams Participate in knowledge translation sessions with internal and external stakeholders What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Health Administration, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare field Strong foundational understanding of healthcare delivery, clinical environments, and patient‑care workflows Three to five years of experience supporting or leading projects in clinical, health‑informatics, or technology‑driven environments Hands‑on experience working with clinical teams or healthcare stakeholders in sensitive, real‑world settings Exposure to health‑IT or digital‑health implementations, including workflow assessment and system rollouts Experience supporting technology or ICT implementations in any sector Familiarity with project‑management fundamentals—timelines, dependencies, and risk tracking Understanding of the Canadian healthcare system and how clinical teams operate day to day Knowledge of clinical workflows, care pathways, and operational processes Awareness of healthcare privacy, security, and data‑governance considerations Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities in fast‑paced environments Comfortable working with diverse stakeholders—including clinicians, administrators, and technical teams Nice‑to‑Haves Master of Health Informatics or equivalent advanced degree Health Informatics certificate combined with a relevant Bachelor’s degree Experience leading clinical IT or health technology implementations end to end Prior experience in health tech, digital‑health, or healthcare software environments Familiarity with agile project‑management or change‑management practices Experience with healthcare integrations, privacy, and security considerations Experience documenting workflows, creating implementation guides, or delivering training Prior customer‑facing implementation or support experience Passion for improving healthcare delivery through technology Working Environment This role includes required travel to external clinical sites and is classified as Working Environment Risk Level 2. Compensation Salary range: $75,000 to $90,000 CAD per year, depending on experience, skills, and alignment with the role.
