Verto is a hybrid company with a remote-first approach. While most of our team works remotely within the GTA, we encourage in-office collaboration at OneEleven (downtown Toronto).
The RoleAs an Implementations Specialist, you will join Verto's Clinical Implementations team. You will play a critical role in the optimization and frontline deployment of the Verto platform across diverse clinical environments.
This is a highly visible, customer facing role that sits at the intersection of clinical workflows, technology, and change management. You will work directly with physicians, specialists, clinical staff, administrators, patients, and caregivers to assess workflows, gather requirements, configure solutions, and support successful rollouts.
This role is ideal for someone in an early to mid career in health informatics or clinical technology who enjoys variety, thrives in fast paced environments, and can comfortably shift between clinical requirements gathering, basic project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and hands on implementation.
Note: This role is a maternity leave coverage position and will be offered as an indefinite-term contract.
What You'll DoProject ManagementLead the planning and implementation of clinical and health IT implementation projectsManage project plans, timelines, and KPIs to ensure successful deliveryProactively identify risks, manage issues, and drive mitigation strategiesAct as a change agent and primary point of contact for clinical and project stakeholdersSupport solution design and configuration of Verto products based on client requirements needsCustomer and Stakeholder EngagementConduct clinical and operational requirements gathering to deeply understand client workflowsAct as a liaison between customers and internal teams including product, engineering, and supportBuild and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clinical and operational stakeholdersManage client escalations and ensure transparent, timely communicationFacilitate regular project meetings, kick offs, training sessions and and close outs with clarity and confidence
Quality AssuranceBuild basic test plans and carry out solution testing to ensure quality standards are maintainedOversee issue prioritization, feature requests, and resolution tracking during implementationsClinical ImplementationsLead the identification, development, planning, implementation, and sustainment of clinical IT solutionsAnalyze clinical workflows and develop supporting documentation and process modelsDevelop client-facing training materials; QRGs, videos, user guides, etc. to ensure adoption of the solution Knowledge Sharing and EnablementDevelop internal implementation documentation including guides, demos, and training materialsSupport continuity and succession planning by sharing implementation knowledge across teamsParticipate in knowledge translation sessions to support internal and external stakeholdersWhat You BringBachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Health Administration, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare fieldStrong foundational understanding of healthcare delivery, clinical environments, and patient care workflowsThree to five years of experience supporting or leading projects in clinical, health informatics, or technology driven environmentsHands on experience working with clinical teams or healthcare stakeholders in sensitive, real world settingsExposure to health IT or digital health implementations, including workflow assessment and system rolloutsExperience supporting technology or ICT implementations in any sectorFamiliarity with project management fundamentals including timelines, dependencies, and risk trackingUnderstanding of the Canadian healthcare system and how clinical teams operate day to dayKnowledge of clinical workflows, care pathways, and operational processesAwareness of healthcare privacy, security, and data governance considerationsStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearlyAbility to manage multiple workstreams and priorities in fast paced environmentsComfortable working with diverse stakeholders including clinicians, administrators, and technical teamsNice-to-HavesMaster of Health Informatics or equivalent advanced degreeHealth Informatics certificate combined with a relevant Bachelor's degreeExperience leading clinical IT or health technology implementations end to endPrevious experience working in health tech, digital health, or healthcare software environmentsFamiliarity with agile project management or change management practicesExposure to healthcare integrations, privacy, and security considerationsExperience documenting workflows, creating implementation guides, or delivering trainingPrior customer facing implementation or support experiencePassion for improving healthcare delivery through technologyWorking Environment
This role includes required travel to external clinical sites and is classified as Working Environment Risk Level 2.
CompensationThe salary range for this role is $75,000 to $90,000 CAD per year, depending on experience, skills, and alignment with the role.
In addition to base compensation, Verto Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, which may include health and dental coverage, paid time off, professional development support, and flexible work arrangements.
Compensation is reviewed regularly to ensure fairness, market alignment, and internal equity.
