This locum opportunity offers a diverse, regional scope of practice within an inter‑professional team. The role involves comprehensive geriatric psychiatric care, including managing severe neurocognitive disorders, using trauma‑informed and palliative approaches, and supporting transitions in care. The provider will be a regional resource for patients living within the Interior Health and Northern Health regions and will be required to participate in the tertiary utilisation committee meetings every week. Opportunities for leadership, teaching, research, and integration with acute, community, or long‑term care settings are also available. Hillside Psychiatric Centre Provides services to adult and elderly individuals with acute psychiatric illness who cannot be cared for in the psychiatric system within their own community.
