Hotel Arts is currently seeking a dedicated Catering & Event Services Manager. This pivotal role involves selling and overseeing all catering food, beverage, and room rental revenues within a specific market at our hotel. Key Responsibilities Solicit and generate new business opportunities Collaborate with event planners to coordinate catering needs Manage all aspects of catering, with a primary focus on food & beverage, including setup details, agendas, and event logistics to ensure client objectives are met Negotiate with clients on menu planning, beverage requirements, and other event specifics Confirm event details with clients and prepare necessary documentation such as Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and group resumes Enforce Catering Agreements according to hotel policies Coordinate with outside vendors as needed Maintain pricing integrity and propose upscale menus for groups Work closely with various hotel departments to ensure seamless event execution Conduct post-event follow-up with clients Qualifications Proficiency in hotel sales platforms like Opera Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Strong interpersonal skills to foster productive relationships across departments 1-2 years of experience in hotel catering, events, meetings, or conference roles Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Comprehensive understanding of event setups, space functionalities, and operations This is a full-time position for maternity leave coverage with a competitive salary and eligibility for bonuses upon achieving sales targets.
