Gather Catering & Events is a made from scratch catering company that offers a high level of food and service to our clients. We are looking to expand our service team with bartenders. Serving/hospitality experience (restaurant and/or catering) required and applicants must be 18 years of age or older. We cater to a variety of events in clients homes, event venues and offices throughout the city. The events we cater include but are not limited to corporate breakfasts, lunches, cocktail and dinner parties, weddings, birthday parties, baby showers, social gatherings, celebrations of life.

The serving and bartending schedules are flexible and we require service staff with diverse schedules so that we are able to staff daytime, evening, weekday and week-end events. Staff are able to choose which event shifts work with their schedules.

Duties include;
- setting up at event site - including (but not limited to) tables, chair, linens, kitchen, bars (both beer & wine bars and full service bars), florals
- executing food and beverage service
- cleaning up post event
- always maintaining a high level of client experience and customer service.

Applicants must;
- 18 years of age or older
- be presentable in appearance and comfortable interacting with clients
- be proficient in the knowledge, pouring and mixing of wine, beer, cocktails and mocktails.
- be available to work seasonal and flexible hours - days, evenings, week-ends, holidays
- be able to lift up to 25-50 pounds, and able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- protect and enhance the Gather Catering & Events brand
- integrate and work well with existing staff
- be ProServe certified
- applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Pay will be based on experience.
