Who we need:

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Partnerships, we are seeking an Executive Director, Partnerships. In this role, you will lead a team of Account Leads to strengthen relationships with our existing owners and partners. As the Executive Director, your primary focus will be to drive business growth through the Scene+ brand, utilizing our extensive channels, member database, and partner network to achieve strategic objectives. You will spearhead cross-owner program initiatives, including Scene+ days and rewards events, engage in solution selling, and work collaboratively to develop and implement efficient, data-driven, member-centric programs.

This is a hybrid role with the requirement to work in-office five days over two weeks.

As our new Executive Director, Partnerships you will:

  • Ensure strategic partner performance management. You will support Account Leads as they collaborate with internal teams across marketing, data and analytics, operations, finance, and channel products to deliver the annual account plan and conduct quarterly business reviews. Leveraging deep marketing insights and competitor analysis, you will develop tailored growth strategies for each client, addressing internal silos and expansion opportunities, including product growth and digital adoption. You will lead contract negotiations and expansions, acting as the senior lead on launches.
  • Nurture strong relationships. You will maintain strong relationships with owners and partners, serving as the senior point of contact. You will engage regularly with partners to discuss results, propose solutions, influence outcomes, and identify opportunities to drive KPIs.
  • Ensure owner happiness and partner retention. You will monitor satisfaction levels through quarterly feedback sessions and other communications, develop strategies within Scene+ to ensure high satisfaction and retention rates, and proactively address any issues.
  • Advocate for our owners and partners. You will be the champion for our partners within the organization, representing their interests in decision-making processes and sharing knowledge about their business and industry to inform growth plans.
  • Provide financial oversight. You will lead a collaborative effort with owners to plan and forecast annual points and redemptions, ensuring the development of Scene+ annual account plans that quantify Scene+'s contributions. You will monitor and manage partner tracking to targets, understand drivers, and support Account Leads in making strategic and financial adjustments to close any gaps. You will act as the senior point of contact for Scene+ finance, regularly reporting key metrics to senior leadership with insights and recommendations for optimizing engagement and revenue generation.
  • Coach and lead a high-performing team. You will lead and mentor a team of Account Leads responsible for managing owner and partner relationships and oversee the design and delivery of individual annual account plans. You will provide coaching to enhance team knowledge in loyalty expertise, leveraging data to drive strategy and share industry-specific details to meet the needs of owners and partners.

  • The interpersonal skills. You have outstanding professional written, verbal, and presentation skills. You can navigate conflict, mediate, and facilitate discussions at any level. You genuinely appreciate diverse experiences and backgrounds and are interested in understanding others, hearing their perspectives, and addressing their concerns.
  • The technical skills. You are proficient in Microsoft Office. You love to create presentations that effectively communicate complex concepts and strategies. You leverage your experience in Tableau and data analysis to derive insights, enhancing your ability to make well-informed decisions and devise innovative strategies.
