About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned executive to lead our business development efforts in the higher education sector. As Executive Director, Strategic Partnerships, you will be responsible for driving growth and establishing strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the Canadian post-secondary education market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth and revenue expansion in the higher education sector.
  • Partnership Development: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including university administrators, faculty members, and industry partners.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and joint ventures.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of business development professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure their success.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure the financial health and sustainability of the business.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree or Ph.D. preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in the higher education sector.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as a Certified Business Development Professional (CBDP) or a Certified Marketing Professional (CMP), are an asset.
