Full Time position available, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. Responsibilities The Store Manager is responsible for all store operations, including maintenance of facilities, inventory control, marketing, merchandising, sales, cost containment, and personnel management and motivation. The Store Manager accomplishes the objectives by personal action and/or delegation of responsibility as appropriate. All tasks are performed with sufficient speed and accuracy to ensure courteous and prompt customer service is maintained at all times. Qualifications High School graduation or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is preferred. 3 - 5 years of retail experience is an asset. Knowledge of OneNote to take notes, research and collaborate with team members. Knowledge of Quick Books, bookkeeping and record keeping.Excellent mathematical skills. Excellent computer skills and knowledge of operating software such as word, spreadsheets, internet, etc. Excellent communication skills to work effectively with staff and customers. Good organizational skills to prioritize work demands. Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Ability to lead and develop staff. Ability to work cooperatively in a team atmosphere. Job-related managerial training. Solid understanding of Home Hardware’s policies and procedures.
