**Exciting Career Opportunity - Store Manager (Floral Retail)**

**Position**: Retail Store Manager - Floral Industry
**Location**: In-person

**Job Type**: Full-time
**Shift**: Day shift
**Compensation**: Includes bonus pay opportunities

**Role Overview**

As Store Manager, you’ll take charge of the daily operations of our floral shop — overseeing staff, customer service, inventory, floral production, and more. You’ll play a key role in driving the store’s success and contributing to our brand’s continued growth.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Floral Design & Operations**
- Create floral arrangements, custom orders, and seasonal displays using fresh, dried, or artificial flowers
- Maintain high standards of quality and creativity in all floral products

**Sales & Marketing**
- Develop strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Plan and execute marketing initiatives to promote seasonal offerings and products

**Inventory Management**
- Track inventory levels, place supply orders, and manage waste control

**Team Leadership**
- Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor team members
- Lead by example to foster a productive and motivated work environment

**Customer Experience**
- Deliver outstanding service and build lasting customer relationships

**Store Presentation**
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and visually inviting

**Financial Oversight**
- Assist with payroll, budget control, and expense tracking

**Availability**
- Must be flexible to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak floral seasons (e.g., Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas)

**Health & Safety**
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act standards

**What We’re Looking For**

**Required**:

- 1+ year of experience in a retail or floral management role
- Familiarity with flowers, plants, and floral design
- Strong leadership skills with team management experience
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Highly organized with strong time management skills
- Proficient in inventory control and ordering
- Ability to contribute to and execute marketing strategies
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Physically capable of lifting, standing for extended periods, and light cleaning

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Education: Secondary School diploma or equivalent
- Experience:

- Retail management: 1 year (preferred)
- Floral industry: 1 year (preferred)
