Industrial Electrical Engineer (CEP) - Relocation to Sept‑Îles Join to apply for the Industrial Electrical Engineer (CEP) role at BBA Consultants . Assist industrial clients in the energy and mining markets with operations, maintenance, and growth projects. Perform site surveys, testing, commissioning of equipment, and participate in various stages of project execution. Ensure quality professional services and maintain strong client relationships. Responsibilities Assist clients in day‑to‑day operations: troubleshooting, root cause analysis, staff training, shutdown planning and asset management Perform site surveys Participate in equipment testing and commissioning Conduct short‑circuit, power flow, protection coordination, arc‑flash hazard studies and harmonic content analyses, as well as steady‑state and transient analyses in industrial power systems Design and read electrical drawings Draft technical documents, calculation notes, specifications and reports Attend internal or client coordination meetings Participate in project management (costs, schedules, labour, etc.) Required Qualities and Values Results‑oriented: demonstrate rigor in executing work and constantly seek to exceed objectives Respect: maintain an inclusive work environment and value contributions of everyone Integrity: be trustworthy and respect BBA’s ethics and values Service excellence: manage relationships with clients, colleagues, and partners independently Leadership: inspire trust and create a team‑oriented climate Entrepreneurship: proactively promote skills internally and to clients Communication: strong listening, synthesis, and writing skills Creativity: resourcefulness and innovation in providing solutions Summary of Certifications & Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (or equivalent) Three or fewer years of relevant engineering experience Availability for short‑term assignments between Sept‑Îles and Labrador City, and across Québec and Canada Knowledge of MS Office Suite and other database applications Advanced level of English and French to collaborate effectively; ability to draft technical documents in both languages Assets: Graduate from the Institut en génie de l’énergie électrique (IGEE); onsite experience (internship) with industrial networks; knowledge of ETAP, EasyPower, CYME or EMTP‑RV software Benefits Interesting growth opportunities; wide playing field including technical, team management, and project management Participation in innovation projects Collaborative team shares ideas and knowledge Custom training and development plans Profit‑sharing program for all regular employees About BBA For over 40 years, BBA has been pushing the boundaries of engineering to serve clients in the Energy and Natural Resources sector.
