Sounds great – what’s the role in a nutshell? The task of the Cruise Director is to communicate and delegate functions in order to ensure the service on board. Leadership is essential in order to exert a healthy influence on the personnel in charge. As a result, the ratings for the given service obtain high scores, evidenced in the comment cards. Your Passion Is Facilitate communication and information exchange among the te onshore offices and the ship to ensure smooth information flow. Demonstrate effective leadership in managing personnel. Collaborate with the captain to plan upcoming voyages. Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure seamless food service operations. Oversee the staff's execution of their assigned roles and responsibilities. Conduct a comprehensive welcome briefing for passengers. Maintain awareness of guests' dietary restrictions and preferences. Supervise the dinner service to uphold high‑quality standards and guest satisfaction. Solicit feedback from guests regarding their service satisfaction. Verify the accuracy of the full guest list. Prepare operational reports detailing any incidents or issues as they occur. Take responsibility for closing consumption records within the Point of Sale (POS) system. Greet and welcome guests after each excursion. Inquire about any specific requirements or preferences from guests. Supervise the guide's program briefing to ensure it is effectively communicated to guests. Establish effective coordination and communication among different managers. Ensure comment cards are readily available for guest feedback. Oversee special offers in the boutique. What are we looking for? Technical or Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Hospitality or Tourism Management. Must be a PADI Open Water Diving Instructor. 3 years of work experience in the luxury hospitality or cruise industry. Proven track record of leadership with a minimum of 2 years of experience. English proficiency or native level, Spanish and French is a plus. Proficient in computer skills and numeracy. Competence in swimming. You enjoy speaking and sharing your knowledge with customers. Customer Service capabilities, able to deal with a variety of clients and strong multi-tasking skills. Attention to detail and ability to plan ahead.
