This individual will have a passion for people development and the ability to work cross-functionally and build long term win-win relationships. Strong ethical standards and perseverance to overcome challenges, while maintaining a fun environment are critical.Primary ResponsibilitiesLeading and developing the Maintenance teams. Ensuring the company has world-class Asset Management Reliability programs and standards to execute innovation and support a robust supply chain Oversight of the maintenance budgets Collaboration with other departments to meet/exceed annual operating plans and other strategic milestones Custodian and advocate of the safety of maintenance work on-site Development of technical competence framework for maintenance within the organization Identifying and delivering projects to improve quality, cost, sustainability, and/or safety Benchmark and apply best practices to Riverside Continually upgrading subject matter knowledge to keep pace with the growth of the business and industry changes Driving a continuous improvement culture Reporting RelationshipsReports to the VP of Manufacturing & Engineering Director reports: Maintenance Manager, Reliability Engineer, Indirect Buyer Education & QualificationsUniversity degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) +10 years of experience with food/pharma manufacturing processes and hygienic designs Experience with implementation and executing a full scale CMMS Lean/Six Sigma skills desirable Skills & AbilitiesTeam player Self-starter with a strong drive for results, and desire to develop people Strong multitasking, analytical, and decision-making skills Ability to identify root causes and solve problems Strong communication skills (verbal & written) Experience with CapEx management an asset Demonstrates HUMILITY throughout the company daily What We ExpectValues-led: You’ll be a member of a thoughtful and compassionate team that prioritizes respect, teamwork and resourcefulness along with a good dash of fun.
