This individual will have a passion for people development and the ability to work cross-functionally and build long term win-win relationships. Strong ethical standards and perseverance to overcome challenges, while maintaining a fun environment are critical.Primary ResponsibilitiesLeading and developing the Maintenance teams.Ensuring the company has world-class Asset Management Reliability programs and standards to execute innovation and support a robust supply chainOversight of the maintenance budgetsCollaboration with other departments to meet/exceed annual operating plans and other strategic milestonesCustodian and advocate of the safety of maintenance work on-siteDevelopment of technical competence framework for maintenance within the organizationIdentifying and delivering projects to improve quality, cost, sustainability, and/or safetyBenchmark and apply best practices to RiversideContinually upgrading subject matter knowledge to keep pace with the growth of the business and industry changesDriving a continuous improvement cultureReporting RelationshipsReports to the VP of Manufacturing & EngineeringDirector reports: Maintenance Manager, Reliability Engineer, Indirect BuyerEducation & QualificationsUniversity degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.)+10 years of experience with food/pharma manufacturing processes and hygienic designsExperience with implementation and executing a full scale CMMSLean/Six Sigma skills desirableSkills & AbilitiesTeam playerSelf-starter with a strong drive for results, and desire to develop peopleStrong multitasking, analytical, and decision-making skillsAbility to identify root causes and solve problemsStrong communication skills (verbal & written)Experience with CapEx management an asset Demonstrates HUMILITY throughout the company dailyWhat We ExpectValues-led: You’ll be a member of a thoughtful and compassionate team that prioritizes respect, teamwork and resourcefulness along with a good dash of fun.
