Gym Sales Manager Location: Winnipeg, MB Innovative Martial Arts is looking to hire a Sales Manager that is great with kids and adults. The person we are looking for must be fun, energetic, enjoy working with kids and comfortable on the phone. We are a fast growing fitness & sports facility dedicated to improving health, building confidence and creating leaders within our community. Our primary customers are families, and we have children and adult programming. Primary roles: handling sales, following up with leads, dealing with membership related issues, retail sales, etc. Serve as the first point of contact for our members, creating a positive and welcoming experience. Manage member relations, including greetings, inquiries, and feedback. Coordinate the intake and enrolment process for new members, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience. Assist with sales promotions, marketing efforts, and daily operational tasks. Maintain records and perform administrative duties as required. Must have previous sales experience. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $40,000.00-$65,000.00 per year Benefits Dental care Extended health care On-site gym On-site parking Paid time off Wellness program Additional Details Language: French not required. Manager, Campus Recreation and Facility Development Position purpose: Provides strategic leadership and operational oversight of campus recreation programs, facilities, and staff. Ensures the delivery of inclusive, innovative and sustainable recreational experiences that support student well‑being, foster community engagement and align with the University of Ottawa’s mission. This includes all uOttawa fitness and instructional programs, aquatic programming, intramurals and camps. Provide strategic representation for campus recreation within the senior leadership team ensuring optimal resource utilization and contributing to department‑wide decisions that shape the strategic direction, mission and objectives of Recreation and Varsity Sports (RVS). Lead the development, execution and evaluation of campus recreation programs for students, staff and the external community ensuring alignment with strategic goals, budgetary targets and performance metrics. Drive the strategic planning and development of sport and recreation infrastructure in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders ensuring facilities meet current and future demands of the university and its partners. Perform high‑level analysis of program and facility needs, benchmarking against industry standards and trends to inform strategic decisions that address the unique needs of the University of Ottawa population. Oversee the strategic allocation of facility resources for all RVS programming ensuring equitable access and alignment with organizational priorities. Foster cross‑functional collaboration with senior management across RVS sectors to optimize shared resources and achieve integrated departmental objectives in areas such as Marketing, Promotion, Communication, High Performance, IT, Operations, Finance and Human Resources. Develop and manage the budget and resources allocated in alignment with RVS annual strategic plan ensuring financial sustainability and effective use of allocated funds. Provide strategic leadership in revenue generation through campus recreation programming setting short and long‑term goals to enhance internal and external funding streams. Lead the recruitment, development and performance management of recreation staff fostering a high‑performing team culture aligned with departmental values and objectives. University degree in sport management, business administration, recreation or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. Five years experience working in a recreational sports, fitness or athletics environment in a supervisory capacity. Five years of experience in human resource and financial management. Bilingualism French and English (spoken and written). Experience in developing, implementing and evaluating strategies. Extensive experience in leading and executing several projects simultaneously and prioritizing tasks often under tight deadlines. Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment. Strong interpersonal skills, exhibiting diplomacy and tact; excellent negotiating, conflict resolution and problem‑solving skills. Description de l’offre d’emploi Volet planification et coordination Planifier, coordonner et assurer la mise en œuvre de la programmation sportive sur 8 jours. Évaluer les besoins en matériel sportif, selon les devis et les disponibilités, et procéder à l’emprunt ou l’achat du matériel manquant. Planifier et diriger les visites techniques des plateaux sportifs et faire les suivis nécessaires pour assurer leur conformité. Coordonner les horaires de compétitions sur l’ensemble des sites. Élaborer et appliquer des plans de contingence pour prévenir et gérer les risques pendant la Finale. Effectuer un suivi budgétaire rigoureux et veiller à l’utilisation optimale des différentes ressources. Agir comme personne‑ressource auprès des fédérations sportives, des associations sportives, des partenaires et des bénévoles sous sa responsabilité pour garantir une organisation fluide et une réalisation harmonieuse de l’évènement. Organiser et participer à diverses rencontres avec les responsables sportifs, les comités de travail, les chefs de mission et les bénévoles. Volet ressources humaines Participer activement au recrutement d’employés et de bénévoles. Superviser, soutenir et encadrer les bénévoles ainsi que les employés sous sa responsabilité. Profil recherché Capacité à mobiliser des gens autour d’un objectif commun. Aisance informatique: Microsoft 365, Intelligence artificielle. Excellentes connaissances du milieu sportif et de l’organisation d’évènements. Proactif, diplomate, centré sur le mode solution, sensible au développement durable.
