We are currently seeking a *FRESH PASTA MAKER COOK *at *TRATTORIA BURNABY KITCHEN*. This is the kind of place that every neighborhood needs. For friends, for family, for fun.

Reporting to the Chef, the *FRESH PASTA MAKER COOK* is responsible for safely preparing dishes required for a full-service restaurant. The ideal candidate should be motivated by an appetite for food and developing knowledge of various cooking techniques.

*SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:*
* FOODSAFE certification is an asset
* 2 year’s experience in a similar role
* Love for handcrafted food (pastry and baking experience is a plus)
* Strong knife skills and workable knowledge of kitchen equipment
* Solid understanding of standard measurements and portions
* Energetic with a passion for food and a positive outlook
* Able to follow oral and written instructions
* Availability to work on a flexible schedule
* Likes to work as part of a team
* Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight
* Ability to stand for long periods of time
