We are currently seeking a FRESH PASTA MAKER COOK at TRATTORIA BURNABY KITCHEN . This is the kind of place that every neighborhood needs. For friends, for family, for fun.

Reporting to the Chef, the FRESH PASTA MAKER COOK is responsible for safely preparing dishes required for a full-service restaurant. The ideal candidate should be motivated by an appetite for food and developing knowledge of various cooking techniques.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
FOODSAFE certification is an asset
2 year's experience in a similar role
Love for handcrafted food (pastry and baking experience is a plus)
Strong knife skills and workable knowledge of kitchen equipment
Solid understanding of standard measurements and portions
Energetic with a passion for food and a positive outlook
Able to follow oral and written instructions
Availability to work on a flexible schedule
Likes to work as part of a team
Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight
Ability to stand for long periods of time

Please note, training will be provided at ITALIAN KITCHEN, and then the successful candidate will work at TRATTORIA in Burnaby full time.
