We are currently looking for a MAESTRO PIZZAIOLO to join our dynamic team at TRATTORIA BURNABY RESTAURANT.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES**:

- Prepare fresh pizza dough
- Ensure sanitary cooking conditions and appropriate safe food handling
- Assist in menu development focusing on the classics but also considering innovative -creative ideas that are ahead of the trend
- Assist in cost control, monitoring and ordering of supplies
- Train apprentices to uphold preparation and quality standards at each location

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Min 5 years experience in pizza making, preferably in a high volume venue
- FOOD SAFE certification
- Traditional Italian culinary experience and a passion for the craft of pizza making
- Experience with hand tossed fresh pizza dough and showman skills to wow our guests
- Aptitude to train and mentor a team to ensure product quality and consistency
- Ability to deal with high pressure environments
