Sunray Hotel Group is currently recruiting for a Corporate Director of Operations , Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Operations.
With a focus on maintaining a positive work culture, the Corporate Director of Operations position provides strategic direction to the hotels in his/her portfolio for the purpose of driving top line revenue while managing strategic cost controls to maximize ROI. This individual will be hands on with their respective properties and work with other Home Office Team Members to optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the overall Operational Performance of each hotel in his/her portfolio.
  • Responsible for GSS Performance of each hotel in his/her portfolio, ensuring all hotels exceed the Brand average and do not fall below the Brand Required minimum threshold.
  • Ensures operational excellence for all hotels in portfolio; provides support as required and critique and guidance to hotels falling short of brand standards and/or company expectations.
  • Provides hands on operational support to hotels that are struggling with staffing, processes, procedures, executing on action plans or other
  • Promotes hotel's policies and philosophies to team members and guests through direct and indirect interaction.
  • Promote Company's policies and philosophies to all General Managers. Ensure proper follow up and follow thru on company deadlines and initiatives.
  • Active oversite in creating the hotel's annual budget, monitors and measures performance of assigned hotels and coaches as appropriate throughout the year.
  • Provides effective people leadership of assigned hotels by attracting, motivating, developing, rewarding and retaining top talent.
  • Supports and implements programs that meet corporate goals and objectives.
  • Evaluates the results of overall operations regularly and systematically and reports these results to the VP Operations.
  • Consistently and proactively measure hotel performance (Sales, Revenue, Market Share, GSS, GOP, Accounts Receivable) to ensure hotel exceeds target goals.
  • Responsible for ensuring all hotels are meeting the Brand Guidelines for service, quality, training, and product. All hotels must pass annual or bi-annual inspections.
  • Conducts monthly P&L Reviews with each General Manager to ensure focus on areas of opportunity and develop actions plans to improve performance.
  • Effectively monitor Accounts Receivable performance monthly to ensure company compliance by all hotels.
  • Review of Monthly Performance by each property with VP Operations.
  • Actively works with the Revenue Management team to ensure that strategies and plans for each property is aligned to maximize revenues.
  • Participate in Weekly Revenue Management meetings.
  • Works jointly with the regional support team for Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, F&B and Finance to ensure strategies are in line, allowing hotels to achieve RPI goals.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
