The Opportunity This is a right time / right place role. Interest in hard assets is accelerating as more Canadians look for portfolio diversification, wealth protection, and alternatives to the traditional banking system. Delta Harbour is positioned to capture that demand with a strong product offering, a consultative sales model, and a growing brand. This year in particular will be historic for gold and silver. Gold rose 59% in CAD and Silver rose 157% in CAD in 2025. If you’re a sales leader with a finance foundation who can build a high‑performing team and personally drive revenue through relationships, referrals, and strategic partnerships, the upside here is significant. Role Summary As VP, Sales, you’ll own revenue growth across Delta Harbour’s sales organization. You will recruit, train, manage, and scale a team of sales professionals and also serve as a senior rainmaker—building business through networking, referrals, and partner relationships. You’ll bring credibility in financial markets, a strong grasp of macroeconomic fundamentals, and the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, client‑focused conversations that drive action. What You’ll Do Lead & Scale the Sales Organization Build, coach, and manage a team of sales reps and team leads. Implement sales playbooks, scripts, objection handling, and a repeatable consultative sales process. Set team goals, manage pipelines, and run weekly performance reviews and forecasting. Create a culture of accountability, energy, learning, and ethical selling. Drive Revenue Personally (Player‑Coach) Generate new business through networking, referrals, and relationship‑based selling. Develop and maintain a referral ecosystem (e.g., financial professionals, accountants, insurance advisors, mortgage brokers, business owners, community leaders). Lead high‑value client conversations and support closing on complex or high‑net‑worth accounts. Represent Delta Harbour at events, presentations, and partnership meetings. Optimize Performance & Reporting Own CRM discipline and data quality (pipeline hygiene, conversion tracking, activity metrics). Monitor performance by rep, channel, and segment; improve conversion rates at each step. Partner with leadership on pricing strategy, promotions, sales compensation levers, and market positioning. What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months) A growing, well‑trained sales team with consistent activity and improving close rates. Predictable pipeline and forecasting, with clear KPI visibility. Measurable growth in referral‑driven revenue and partner‑sourced opportunities. Strong client trust indicators: repeat buyers, referrals, positive reviews, and low complaint rates. Requirements 5+ years’ experience at a financial institution, investment firm, wealth management company, or similar . Proven sales leadership experience: hiring, coaching, performance management, and scaling teams. Strong understanding of macroeconomic fundamentals (rates, inflation, currency dynamics, risk cycles) and how they affect investor behavior. Demonstrated ability to build business through relationships and referrals (not just inbound lead handling).High integrity, strong communication skills, and comfort leading consultative conversations. Nice to Have Experience selling or advising on precious metals , commodities, or alternative assets. Established network in the GTA/Ontario financial ecosystem. Experience in high‑ticket sales, phone‑based closings, or consultative financial product sales. Compensation Base salary: $60,000/year, commensurate with your experience Commissions: performance‑based (with significant upside for high performers) Location Delta Harbour Assets is based in the Greater Toronto Area (Markham, ON).
