Technical Lead Our client, an experienced company in the industrial sector, is looking for a Technical Lead to guide a complex project, leading teams through the decommissioning of IT assets including SaaS, COTS, custom apps, and data platforms. This is a 12‑month contract with potential to extend, hybrid in Vancouver (Canada). What You’ll Do Lead technical initiatives to retire IT resources and manage data migration/archival. Translate complex technical concepts into actionable work for teams and stakeholders. Ensure alignment with ITSM, CMDB, and governance frameworks. Coach and mentor team members, fostering growth and collaboration. Support capability mapping and rationalization to inform decision‑making. What You Bring Proven experience leading technical teams with strong emotional intelligence. Hands‑on experience in IT asset decommissioning and data migration strategies. Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Scrum/Agile, and project management practices. Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable balancing tactical and strategic work. Mining systems and operational technology experience is a plus. Technical Skills: Systems architecture, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), DevOps/CI‑CD, virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V), configuration management.
