The successful incumbent will develop and implement a strategic plan, as well as manage a team of in-house marketing specialists and freelancers. This is a chance for someone to work at a strategic level, collaborate with senior management, and be part of a growing organization, where opportunities are limitless. This is an in-office position located in Burnaby.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 2 in-house marketers and 2 freelancers.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to achieve business objectives, working closely with the senior management team to achieve goals.
  • Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns across various platforms including Google Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, and Microsoft Advertising.
  • Utilize expertise in PPC advertising to drive targeted traffic and conversions.
  • Lead performance-based marketing initiatives, including affiliate marketing programs, to expand our reach and customer acquisition efforts.
  • Oversee content marketing strategies, ensuring the creation and optimization of engaging content that enhances SEO performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency and effective messaging across all marketing channels.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to track effectiveness and optimize strategies accordingly.
  • Manage the marketing team, provide guidance, feedback, and foster a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to keep the company ahead in a competitive market.


Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience with D2C marketing, with a strong focus on e-commerce, at the marketing manager or senior marketing specialist level.
  • Experience with paid advertising – including PPC advertising, particularly on platforms like Google, Meta, TikTok, and Microsoft.
  • Experience with performance-based marketing, with a strong focus on affiliate marketing.
  • A strong understanding of content marketing and SEO, including the ability to develop and optimize content when needed.
  • Solid understanding and experience in brand management.
  • Able to manage a team and provide effective leadership – we are open to marketers with experience managing a team or those who are at the point in their career where they are ready for the responsibility.
  • French fluency is an asset but not required.
  • Strategic in nature – excited to develop and implement a strategic plan and bring fresh ideas to the senior management team.
  • Able to manage a budget of $2 million.
  • Hungry and ready to grow.
