Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Digital Marketing Specialist at SAF International in Surrey, BC. As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for executing day-to-day digital marketing activities. This includes social media marketing, digital marketing campaigns, web analytics, online marketing strategies, content creation, fundraising campaign development and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement comprehensive digital marketing plans that align with SAF International’s mission and goals.
- Content Creation : Develop engaging digital content for various platforms, including social media, website, newsletters, and promotional materials, reflecting the values and mission of SAF International.
- Digital Marketing: Manage and optimize digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media advertising, and SEO, to maximize outreach and engagement.
- Fundraising Campaigns: Design and execute digital fundraising campaigns to support our programs and initiatives, ensuring effective donor engagement and retention.
- Brand Management: Ensure consistency in SAF International’s branding and messaging across all digital communications.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Partnerships and Collaborations: Identify and engage with potential digital partners, sponsors, and influencers to expand SAF International’s reach and impact.
- Community Engagement : Foster and maintain strong digital relationships with the community, donors, volunteers, and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
Skills:
- Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Online Marketing skills
- Proficiency in web analytics tools and analysis
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in creating and implementing digital marketing campaigns
- Understanding of SEO and SEM strategies
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
- Experience with content creation and copywriting
- Knowledge of marketing automation tools
- Relevant certifications in digital marketing
