Retail Sales Representative Full-time (3‑month contract) at Acosta Salary: $44,000 – $46,000 Description We are recruiting a results‑oriented retail sales representative to represent our clients. This role offers you the opportunity to utilize your retail sales experience in a strategic way through the development of direct sales, merchandising, and POS placement. As a member of our sales team, you will call on clients in the Grocery, Gas & Convenience Retail Channel to communicate and execute sales and merchandising strategies, promotions and guidelines, driving results by identifying volume opportunities, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring product dominance and distribution. Responsibilities Primarily provide sales merchandising coverage and coverage of retail special projects for an assigned territory through in‑store execution of our client’s priorities and objectives Handheld reporting New item placement Maintain 100% distribution of existing items Ensure adherence to shelving guidelines and planograms Pricing audits Build displays and place point‑of‑sale material Build relationships with store personnel Negotiate product placement Communicate client information and sell promotions Qualifications Prior territory retail sales experience preferred Available to work Monday to Friday Regular access to a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record, and ability to meet vehicle insurance requirements Strong communication skills in French Organized, self‑motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision Computer literate and comfortable using digital technology (handheld, camera, etc.) Able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs, stand, bend, and reach on a daily basis Able to drive for extended periods of time Ability to store sample products and rack them appropriately Access to high‑speed Internet About Us Acosta Group is a collective uniting the most trusted retail, marketing, and foodservice agencies.
