Technical Territory Sales Representative - BC Location: Vancouver, BCCompensation: 70k to 90k base salary, monthly bonuses, car allowance, paid vacation. This role covers a high‑growth territory across Western Canada and select U.S. markets. About The Company Our client is a top‑tier building materials manufacturer specializing in EPS insulation products and complete building systems for residential and commercial construction. Known for their strong brand, technical expertise, and product quality, they have built an excellent reputation across North America. Position Overview The Territory Sales Representative will expand sales by developing new business and strengthening existing relationships throughout Western Canada and the U.S., based in Vancouver. This role requires a technically capable, relationship‑driven sales professional comfortable traveling and engaging decision‑makers. The role involves pulling demand through distribution, supporting product adoption, and executing a strategic growth plan in collaboration with internal sales, technical, and operations teams. You will work closely with Commercial General Contractors, Distribution Centres, Architects, and Designers, providing sales leadership and technical support. Key Responsibilities Develop and grow new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. Travel throughout Western Canada and the U.S. to support customers and drive market expansion. Collaborate with distribution partners to generate demand and increase product penetration. Deliver product presentations and provide technical guidance to contractors, architects, and designers. Proactively prospect, cold‑call, and close new business using a strong hunter mindset. Read, understand, and interpret technical drawings to support product applications. Collaborate with internal sales, technical, and operations teams to ensure seamless customer service. Represent the company professionally at industry events, job sites, and customer meetings. Qualifications & Experience MUST HAVE: Post‑secondary education highly important for this role (college diploma or post‑graduate certificate in Construction Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology, or equivalent technical education). 3+ years of outside sales experience within construction, building materials, or a related industry. Strong understanding of construction processes and building material applications. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Comfortable with cold calling and balancing hunter and relationship‑driven sales activities. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Highly organized, self‑motivated, and able to manage a multi‑territory workload. Compensation & Benefits $75,000 – $90,000 base salary, plus monthly sales bonus. Car allowance.
