Global Payroll Sales Director

About the opportunity
The Global Payroll Sales Director will be an integral part of the Global Payroll team and the global sales team interacting with senior management internally as well as engaging with Customer and Prospect Executive Sponsors As a subject matter expert, this role will support Global sales pursuits and set the gold standard for conveying the value of Dayforce’s global solution offering. The Global Payroll Sales Director will also be expected to leverage their deep industry expertise and relationship capabilities to help influence the deal strategy and prepare for in-depth customer negotiations with our largest and most strategic customers.
In addition, working with the Sales Enablement team, this role will be expected to create compelling sales content, repeatable enablement tools and scalable sales processes related to Global Payroll, as well as to maintain the ‘one stop shop’ repository of best practice and knowledge in High Spot. The Global Payroll Sales team is responsible for contributing to strategy and thought leadership and position Dayforce as a leader for all areas of HCM, and for global payroll. The Global Payroll Sales Director will partner closely with senior leadership in Deal Management and align directly to our Global Payroll Strategic Sourcing and Commercial team to help facilitate the processes and standards required to ensure commercial readiness.
This role is an exciting opportunity to build and develop a Global Payroll Centre of Expertise to help drive new client acquisition and enable growth in our existing client base by providing the in-depth subject matter expertise to support the sales organization throughout the end-to-end sales cycle, including deal qualification, sales strategy formulation, sales presentations, deal structuring and negotiation.
What you’ll get to do
Sales Support
- Contribute to build and develop a global payroll centre of expertise with the ability to deliver the value messaging and subject matter expertise on Dayforce global payroll offering in global sales pursuits, including coaching the sales team
- Work with senior leadership in the Sales organization to support Global sales pursuits
- Represent Dayforce global offering, including the global payroll network, in sales meetings and executive presentations
- Ensure current/future sales processes do not violate terms of contracts with our partners
- Collaborate with the value team on the competitive analysis and value proposition
- Maintains accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data (and ensures all relevant information is captured in SFDC/CRM system)
- Contribute to defining the processes and tools required at each stage of a global sales cycle including strategizing, developing, and presenting compelling and relevant solutions
- Create thought leadership content, including contributing to the RFP knowledge base
- Ensures that deal qualification criteria clearly defined, shared and adhered to in all Global pursuits
- Conduct training meetings with regional sales teams on our global offering and work with Solution Consultants to define demo data and scenarios
- In partnership with the Global Payroll Strategic Sourcing and Commercial team, recommend ICP pricing optimization, SLAs and services alignment
- Act as a mentor and a coach to the Deal Management team, helping to ensure they have the knowledge and expertise required to facilitate accurate and on-time pricing coordination
- Be an expert on the current global process across multiple functions and work with Deal Management on new processes for Global HR, Time, and module pricing
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 10+ years of experience in Global Human Capital Management, global payroll strategy, partnerships and product
- Experience working with many geographies and cultures across the globe
- Excellent communication, executive presence and presentation skills are essential
- Experience in consultative sales engagements in HR technology and/or a directly related field
- Proven ability to develop relationships with mid-level and C-suite leaders by leveraging a strong understanding of business drivers, value expectations and business case components
- Demonstrated ability to effectively negotiate with internal and external constituents
