Senior Branch Administrator As a member of the CIBC Wood Gundy team, you will be responsible for contributing to the people management of a small support team, including creating a positive work environment, leading and coaching support staff, developing employee capability, and managing performance. As the Senior Branch Administrator, you will be accountable for effectively managing all administrative aspects of Wood Gundy branch operations. This will include hiring, management and supervision of non‑commissioned branch staff, operational and administrative support to the branch and Investment Advisors, oversight of transactional banking functions, consistent demonstration of high levels of internal and external client service, adherence to compliance and audit requirements and maintenance of branch profitability. How You’ll Succeed People Management – Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, supervision, and performance management of all support staff. Operations & Administration – Oversee day‑to‑day branch operations and administration; maintain office equipment; coordinate functions and events; identify efficiencies; monitor branch budget. Sales Support & Customer Service – Assist Branch Manager with investment advisor duties; process trade tickets; coordinate with brokers; ensure service standards. Who You Are You’re a certified professional. You have successfully completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) to obtain Investment Representative (IR) licensing. You have demonstrated experience in the financial service brokerage industry and strong organizational skills. You’re passionate about people and have strong management and interpersonal skills. You are a strong communicator, problem‑solving, and can resolve issues and conflicts.
