About The Role We’re looking for a UI engineer to help build the next-gen data visualization framework for our new console. You’ll create engaging data-driven experiences that help users visualize patterns and navigate threats in their environment. The role collaborates closely with product design and UI engineering. If you are passionate about working with large amounts of data and chart visualizations, this role is for you. What You\'ll Do Execute on the technical strategy for the front-end data visualization architecture with flexibility, scalability, security and performance in mind. Design, build, and maintain a single-page application framework. Participate in the code review process for your own code and that of fellow UI Engineers. Leverage your technical expertise to help the team decisions around engineering, product design and direction. Take initiative and build tools to improve the team’s development experience. Ensure code quality by writing unit, integration and end-to-end tests. Collaborate with UX designers, QA engineers, Product Managers, Data/API engineers, and others. Continually learn about evolving cybersecurity challenges and front-end engineering. What You\'ll Need Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, RESTful API, GraphQL, TypeScript, Ember CLI, Node/NPM, Webpack, and responsive UI. Experience with data visualization libraries such as amCharts, HighCharts, D3.js or similar. Experience building user-centric and scalable UI design systems using atomic design principles. Understanding of cloud technologies and end-to-end delivery of data-intensive SaaS products. Experience with Accessibility (a11y) best practices and WCAG guidelines. Experience with internationalization (i18n). Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Ember, Angular, Lit, or similar. Experience with CSS frameworks such as Tailwind. Experience with front-end data-mocking services and tools. Experience with data fetching and state management libraries. Knowledge of CI/CD best practices and tools. Good collaboration and communication skills. Be an advocate for UX consistency, accessibility and empathy for the end user. Bonus Points Experience with data grid libraries such as AG Grid or similar for interactive, data-intensive UIs. Familiarity with Amazon Web Services. Prior experience in cybersecurity.
