Position Objective The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will support the South Western Ontario Region across the full employee lifecycle—from talent acquisition through onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and offboarding. This position administers and oversees effective, efficient recruitment and selection processes for Sensity, while serving as a key point of contact for employees on all HR-related matters. The Human Resources Business Partner works closely with managers, candidates, and external community networks to attract and retain qualified talent to deliver services to consumers, and ensures high standards of compliance, employee experience, and operational excellence throughout. Key Accountabilities Partner with managers to assess workforce needs, develop recruitment strategies, and maintain talent pipelines for critical regional roles. Coordinate and execute full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, sourcing (active and passive), screening, interviewing, reference/background checks, offer preparation, and proactive candidate communication. Research, recommend, and leverage diverse recruitment channels—digital platforms, sourcing tools, social media, and traditional methods such as job fairs to optimize candidate flow. Build and sustain strong relationships with industry associations, schools, community networks, applicants, and job seekers to strengthen external partnerships. Ensure consistent employer branding and positive, accessible candidate experience across all recruitment touchpoints. Lead and deliver a comprehensive onboarding process, including welcome packages, document collection, HRIS entry, system access, orientation scheduling, and new-hire integration. Administer employee benefit programs (Health Benefits and Group RRSP), processing enrollments, changes, and terminations; respond to inquiries and support issue resolution. Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies, maintain accurate HR records and HRIS data, support audits/reporting and collaborate with managers and regional directors across the region. Manage end-to-end offboarding, including exit interviews, system access removal, final pay/benefit coordination, and analyzing exit trends to support organizational improvement. Safeguard employee data privacy and manage sensitive information with discretion. Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful work environment, escalating concerns appropriately and maintaining confidentiality. Perform other duties, as required. Position Requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience in full cycle recruitment and proven candidate sourcing within a high-volume environment. In-depth knowledge of recruitment best practices, including traditional strategies (e.g. job fairs) and social media sourcing. Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities. Advanced oral and written communication skills, with a strong client service orientation and relationship building skills. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Solid time management, record keeping, attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite. Working knowledge of social services or non-profit sector is an asset. Knowledge of the Employment Standards Act (ESA) and its application to employment practices, including recruitment activities and required employer obligations. Valid driver’s license is required as there will be occasional travel with the regions supported. Other Employment is conditional upon receipt of a successful Criminal Record Check. French may be considered an asset. Excellent communication skills for both verbally and written of the English language.
