As part of Clinical Applications (eChart) team in the Information Management & Technology portfolio, the Project Manager will lead the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) transition project for the Oracle Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. The successful candidate will oversee planning, coordination, and implementation of all project activities related to the transition, ensuring minimal disruption to clinical operations and alignment with the organization’s information management strategic plan. This role requires close collaboration with the vendor, internal technical teams, and clinical stakeholders to deliver a smooth and efficient migration and ensure the continued reliability and performance of the EMR environment. Education Undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Business or Hospital Administration Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred Clinical experience is an asset Qualifications A minimum of 5 years experience leading projects, preferably in a health care environment. Demonstrated success in managing IT-related projects in health care settings including planning, designing and implementation. Experience with Oracle Cerner EMR and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure strongly preferred. Strong understanding of clinical workflows, data migration and system integrations is an asset. Experience with databases, systems and network management, telecommunications. Superior interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills. Extensive experience with change management and user adoption. Knowledge of hospital operations, and the ‘bigger picture’ to leverage interdependencies and opportunities to enhance operations for a successful launch. Strong team player with the ability to lead, influence, and solve problems as they arise within diverse functional groups. Experience working with vendors and contracts. Ability to resolve conflicts and problem solve. Good work and attendance record required.
