They are looking for you to be their next Social Media Marketing Manager, a position that can make us all better. This person will bring a passion for soccer, but just as important, will bring a passion for social media, life, detail, and content while working closely with all departments to take our engagement to another level. This key member of our team will work closely with our content, marketing, communications, and partnership departments to develop key strategies, track data, and create reports and measurables for us all to follow. Much like a top‑class central midfielder, you will need to have the ability to adapt to different personalities on different teams, have strong time management and organization skills, while having the understanding that you must have both a long‑term vision and a crucial eye for detail. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES Creation and management of social media content calendar, ensuring delivery of quality and engaging creative to increase exposure and create a strong network on all media platforms at impeccable standards. Planning and execution of social media marketing, including writing and curation of content on X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and other emerging platforms in support of business goals, platform growth, and fan engagement. Work with the content and marketing teams to strategize, track, and create reports for sponsored digital content, marketing, communications, content, social and paid campaigns. Collaborate with the marketing, communications, partnership, media and content teams at the league, as well as our clubs daily. Monitor social media trends and report on KPIs across all league social properties to help data‑driven decision‑making. Create, manage, and develop long and short‑term content plans and strategies around the timing of social media content. Attend and cover matches or marquee league events (evenings and weekends). Stay up to date with current social media best practices, technologies, and trends to ensure our presence is relevant and engaging. Collaborate with other internal teams to develop and establish cohesive strategies Work with the creative team to create assets for communications, marketing, partnerships and content teams. Adhere to rules and regulations to ensure league integrity. Job Specific Skills and Abilities: Profound knowledge and passion for Canadian soccer crusade Strong familiarity and proven track record with managing all social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter accounts Must be a team player and excited to collaborate with others Healthy interest in data‑driven decision‑making and understanding of social media analytics Strong communication, prioritization, time management, and organization skills Experience and ability to manage workflow and deadlines for multiple projects across the team’s slate of work Excellent eye for the curation of visual content Inclusive, and socially aware of issues that establish and maintain respect for all people in our global community Clear, confident communication abilities Exceptional writing ability and strong understanding of English grammar Education: 3-5 years relevant work experience Other Considerations: Proficiency in French is a plus for any candidate While we strive to create an appropriate work‑life balance, this position will require the candidate to travel and work evenings and weekends as necessary Seniority level Associate Employment type Full‑time Job function Marketing, Design, and Strategy/Planning Industries Spectator Sports, Events Services, and Retail Apparel and Fashion #J-18808-Ljbffr
