Responsibilities Ensure the sustainability, performance, scalability, and security of the data platform architecture. Maintain in‑depth expertise in the platform ecosystem, including Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake), and recommend technological developments necessary to meet the company’s needs. Ensure compliance with the service level agreements (SLAs) defined for the data platform, particularly in terms of availability, latency, and reliability of critical data flows. Define and maintain technical standards (code quality, testing, documentation) and ensure effective continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes in collaboration with the Croesus Platform team. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to team members to ensure the delivery of robust and effective solutions. Plan, prioritize, and oversee team activities, ensuring continuous value delivery. Contribute to the performance evaluation and professional development of team members. Actively collaborate in establishing and enforcing data governance policies (quality, metadata, lineage, access) to ensure that data is reliable, traceable, and compliant. Work with architecture and security teams to ensure that data access and processing comply with the strict regulatory requirements of wealth management. Act as the primary technical point of contact between the Data Platform and development teams to optimize data consumption and exposure. Qualifications More than eight years of relevant experience in software engineering and/or data engineering, including at least two years in a technical leadership or team lead role. Proven expertise in designing and operating modern data platforms in a cloud environment. Proficiency in the Databricks ecosystem, including the use of Spark, Delta Lake, and machine learning/analytics tools. In‑depth knowledge of data governance issues. Leadership: Ability to motivate, develop, and lead a team of experts. Strategic Communication: Strong ability to present complex technical concepts to a diverse audience (team, management, stakeholders). Vision and Problem Solving: Ability to anticipate future architectural challenges and propose sustainable and scalable solutions. Versatility and autonomy in the day‑to‑day performance of duties.
