Key Tasks

  • Oversee, lead, plan, manage, implement and evaluate eCommerce marketing strategies that promote the initiatives and goals of the Division.
  • Oversee the research, development and implementation of marketing content and Search Engine Optimization/Search Engine Marketing (SEO/SEM), Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning, personalization, Smart Search in order to heighten digital engagement and build awareness
  • Manage, develop and implement an A/B testing strategy to optimize the online customer experience, measuring results and documenting best practices.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify gaps and improve opportunities, as required.
  • Develop, manage and execute web content strategy aligned with key corporate and e-commerce objectives
  • Manage the assessment, cataloguing and organization of web content
  • Develop and manage the product content onboarding & optimization strategy for the entire product catalogue using eCommerce best practices
  • Manage email, social media, display ads, blog, pay-per-click (PPC) advertising and SEM marketing strategies
  • Develop and manage email campaigns and e-newsletters catered to specific target demographics
  • Utilize marketing tools to develop segmented marketing campaigns
  • Manage online order fulfillment logistics and develop procedures for the stores to reduce cost, increase efficiency and improve the customer experience
  • Build and sustain working relationships with e-commerce platform development vendors and designers
  • Research, oversee, manage and maintain relevant knowledge around latest eCommerce trends, best practices and technologies
  • Review, process and determine order routing for completeness and accuracy
  • Ensure accounting processes are in place for shipping, receiving, return, etc, such as receipts and packing slips
  • Manage employees
  • Leverage customer insights, analytics, research and reporting functions to support decision making, analyzing results, develop best practices for the department and provide advice to senior management
  • Manage and monitor budget at a program or project level
  • Work with, and support the Purchasing and Inventory Management personnel
  • Perform data management activities pertaining to products, customers and website traffic
  • Analyze data received from the 3rd party web provider
  • Prepare reports on key performance metrics, web analytics and sales performance for stakeholders and audiences, as well as to draw conclusions that support evidence-based decision-making
  • Summarize statistical methods used to perform data analysis, as required
  • Support special projects through data extraction, analysis, and interpretation, as required
  • Develop strategies and tactics to baseline data management, reporting and analytics
  • Apply NPF policies, procedures, regulations, and applicable legislation
  • Ensure compliance with the Health & Safety Program and may act as a member of a local NPF Committee
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Key Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in retail, order management, online marketing or web content development/management in an enterprise environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights email marketing with ability to define segments within Customer Insights that target key customers
  • Ability to manage a team of specialists to execute multichannel marketing campaigns

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, college diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field
  • Experience in the management and operation of an eCommerce website
  • Experience in developing and managing relationships with eCommerce vendors
  • Expertise in developing and managing eCommerce content strategies, marketing campaigns, social media and targeted emails
  • Knowledge of the principles of business and retail management practices, and theories
  • Experience in digital marketing platforms
  • Expertise in digital media principles, practices, theories and trends
  • Knowledge of the differing cultures and demographics of various digital media networks
  • Skills in web content development/management
  • Knowledge of web-based marketing tactics
  • Knowledge of web/mobile A/B testing and multivariate experiments
  • Expertise in trends in content delivery methods
  • Experience in order management
  • Experience in budget management
  • Knowledge of productivity standards and cost/retail accountability methods
  • Knowledge operations management in various retail departments
  • Skills in logistics related to online order fulfillment
  • Experience in business and strategic planning
  • Experience in making recommendations and providing advice in digital marketing initiatives
  • Experience in project management
