The AI Nurture team uses cutting‑edge AI and GenAI technologies to revolutionize the apartment renting experience and engage with millions of renters, bridging the gap between renters and property managers. As a Senior Software Engineer (SE4) on this team, you will shape the future of AI‑driven real‑estate solutions, launching new products, improving existing ones, and driving cross‑functional initiatives, including technical consolidation projects. Reporting directly to the Co‑Founder & CTO of AI Nurture (acquired by Apartment List in 2022), you will strengthen internal partnerships and foster international collaboration between the US and Israeli teams. Note: While we are a virtual‑first company, this role requires an EST‑based candidate to facilitate real‑time collaboration with the Israeli engineering teams. Responsibilities Deliver high‑impact projects end‑to‑end, collaborating with product, design, and data to unblock execution Drive complex problem‑solving and analytical decision‑making in uncertain scenarios Build products that incorporate ML and GenAI models Lead both product‑focused initiatives and technical health projects to ensure system stability and scalability Actively participate in engineering forums to represent the AI Nurture team and promote cross‑functional collaboration Work closely with global teams, including the AI Nurture IL engineering manager and data science lead Skills & Experience SE4‑level full‑stack engineering experience with a strong backend focus Startup experience and bias for action Results‑oriented: think long‑term but prioritize immediate impact using data‑driven experiments Strong work ethic: initiative, follow‑through, extra‑mile mindset Problem solver: unblock progress in challenging situations Technical leadership: scope, architect, deliver complex projects Agile & Scrum experience: comfortable iterative cycles Constant learner: exploring new technologies Languages & frameworks: NodeJS, React/NextJS, Python, Ruby on Rails, database (MongoDB, Postgres) Cloud: GCP, AWS or similar CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions or similar Timezone: Must be on East Coast time to maximize overlap with US and IL teams Advantage: collaboration with Data Science teams, experience with GenAI tech, experience with international teams; Hebrew fluency a plus but not required Benefits & Perks Work on cutting‑edge AI technologies, including generative AI A supportive, enjoyable environment with talented colleagues Opportunity to be a key player in a dynamic, international R&D environment Technical challenges and collaboration opportunities High impact role in the exciting field of prop‑tech Compensation CAN base salary range for this position is (CAN$): Zone 1: $144,000 – $174,000 TTC (including $129,000 – $156,000 base salary) + equity Zone 2: $129,000 – $156,000 TTC (including $116,000 – $141,000 base salary) + equity Compensation details exclude benefits and perks.
