Sr. Software Engineer – AI Expert Base pay range: $80.00/hr - $160.00/hr Location: Remote Commitment: 15–25 hours/week, with flexibility up to 40 hours/week About the Job Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. Role Responsibilities Review and refine AI-generated prompts, responses, and code. Validate algorithms and software concepts for technical accuracy. Provide structured feedback on solution quality and clarity. Tag and organize content by topic, difficulty, or language. Support benchmarking efforts to assess model capabilities. Work independently and asynchronously with flexible hours to improve AI systems. Qualifications Must-Have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, technical research, or educational content development. Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Strong proficiency in languages like Python, JavaScript, Java, or C++. Experience with debugging, testing, and validating code. Comfortable with technical writing and attention to detail. Preferred Degree from Top US Colleges or Universities.
