Applicants for this role can expect to work on-site from our Ottawa Head Office, on Walkley Road 2 days a week for an 8:00am - 5:00pm schedule with a one-hour lunch.This role is a **full-time contract opportunity.** The contract will run from date of hire to October 30, 2026.**What Giant Tiger Brings:*** Work Your Way Hybrid work arrangement;* Store Discount* Onsite Perks: Free parking; Public Transit accessible; 24/7 access to onsite gym; full-service cafeteria**Role Purpose:** To drive profitable growth by centralizing GT’s pricing strategy and deliver promotional planning efficiencies across all divisions simultaneously and across all channels (print/digital flyer, loyalty, in-store).# **What You'll Be Doing:*** Pricing & Promotions -- execute centralized GT pricing strategy and realize promotional GM$ recapture/growth; support price index reporting and action plan development to achieve company objectives* Achieve center of excellence through: price perception management, optimize promotions through predictive promotional modeling, integrate promotional planning as an input into Category & GTM plans* Collaborate with key stakeholders (merchants, marketing team, franchise operations, store owners & managers) on promotional planning and price management processes to reduce complexity and improve efficiencies**What You'll Bring*** Undergraduate Degree or Diploma in similar or related field.* 8+ years of experience in a similar capacity* MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).* Similar work experience in retail environment preferred.* Solid experience with leading a team, coaching, developing and empowering direct reports through high-touch leadership skills* P&L and Budget management required.* Strong analytics, reporting and creative problem solving skills. Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations. Strong understanding of metrics and reporting.* Detail oriented and ability to multi-task.
