Applicants for this role can expect to work on-site from our Ottawa Head Office, on Walkley Road 2 days a week for an 8:30-4:30 schedule.This role is a full-time contract opportunity. The contract will run from date of hire to October 30, 2026.What Giant Tiger Brings:Work Your Way Hybrid work arrangement;Store DiscountOnsite Perks: Free parking; Public Transit accessible; 24/7 access to onsite gym; full-service cafeteriaRole Purpose: To drive profitable growth by centralizing GT’s pricing strategy and deliver promotional planning efficiencies across all divisions simultaneously and across all channels (print/digital flyer, loyalty, in-store).What You'll Be Doing:Pricing & Promotions -- execute centralized GT pricing strategy and realize promotional GM$ recapture/growth; support price index reporting and action plan development to achieve company objectivesAchieve center of excellence through: price perception management, optimize promotions through predictive promotional modeling, integrate promotional planning as an input into Category & GTM plansCollaborate with key stakeholders (merchants, marketing team, franchise operations, store owners & managers) on promotional planning and price management processes to reduce complexity and improve efficienciesWhat You'll BringUndergraduate Degree or Diploma in similar or related field.8+ years of experience in a similar capacityMS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Similar work experience in retail environment preferred.Solid experience with leading a team, coaching, developing and empowering direct reports through high-touch leadership skillsP&L and Budget management required.Strong analytics, reporting and creative problem solving skills. Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations. Strong understanding of metrics and reporting.Detail oriented and ability to multi-task. Appreciation for a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Strong planning, organizational skills and interpersonal skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Exceptional leadership skills with ability to influence cross-functional partners.Assets You May HaveBilingual French and EnglishAre you interested in this position but don’t meet 100% of the criteria?
