Niagara Children's Centre is hiring for a:

PHYSIOTHERAPIST (1.0 FTE)

A Physiotherapist works to evaluate, restore and maintain physical functions of clients with a goal towards increased participation and quality of life. This process includes assessment, goal setting, treatment planning, and implementation of treatment in a direct, indirect or consultative manner, as indicated, until discharge/transition to school.

To be considered, candidates will possess the following qualifications & skills:

Registration and membership in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
Post-secondary degree in physiotherapy
Sound understanding of physiotherapy amongst children and youth
Ability to identify goals and establish appropriate treatment plans to achieve said goals with children, youth, families and other care providers both in-person and virtually through telepracticing
Effectively educate children/youth, families and other care providers related to their specific needs, utilizing a variety of strategies and through a variety of mediums (group, individual, lectures, online, etc.)
Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team
Bilingualism considered an asset
Current CPR and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certifications
Access to a vehicle and possession of a driver's license valid in Ontario

This position is a member of the bargaining unit which is represented by the Ontario Public Service Employees Union, and as such will be bound under the terms of the collective agreement.
