This process includes assessment, goal setting, treatment planning, and implementation of treatment in a direct, indirect or consultative manner, as indicated, until discharge/transition to school.A complete job description can be found at * be considered, candidates will possess the following qualifications & skills:* Registration and membership in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario* Post-secondary degree in physiotherapy* Sound understanding of physiotherapy amongst children and youth* Ability to identify goals and establish appropriate treatment plans to achieve said goals with children, youth, families and other care providers both in-person and virtually through telepracticing* Effectively educate children/youth, families and other care providers related to their specific needs, utilizing a variety of strategies and through a variety of mediums (group, individual, lectures, online, etc.)* Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team* Bilingualism considered an asset* Current CPR and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certifications* Access to a vehicle and possession of a driver’s license valid in Ontario*This position is a member of the bargaining unit which is represented by the Ontario Public Service Employees Union, and as such will be bound under the terms of the collective agreement.*We thank all applicants, only those selected for an interview will be contacted._Niagara Children’s Centre is committed to providing a barrier-free environment for all stakeholders including our clients, employees, job applicants, visitors, and any other individual who enters our Centre or access our information.
