Niagara Children's Centre is hiring for a:
*PHYSIOTHERAPIST (1.0 FTE)


A Physiotherapist works to evaluate, restore and maintain physical functions of clients with a goal towards increased participation and quality of life.

This process includes assessment, goal setting, treatment planning, and implementation of treatment in a direct, indirect or consultative manner, as indicated, until discharge/transition to school.

A complete job description can be found at **To be considered, candidates will possess the following qualifications & skills:* Registration and membership in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario

  • Post-secondary degree in physiotherapy
  • Sound understanding of physiotherapy amongst children and youth
  • Ability to identify goals and establish appropriate treatment plans to achieve said goals with children, youth, families and other care providers both in-person and virtually through telepracticing
  • Effectively educate children/youth, families and other care providers related to their specific needs, utilizing a variety of strategies and through a variety of mediums (group, individual, lectures, online, etc.)
  • Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team
  • Bilingualism considered an asset
  • Current CPR and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certifications
  • Access to a vehicle and possession of a driver's license valid in Ontario
*This position is a member of the bargaining unit which is represented by the Ontario Public Service Employees Union, and as such will be bound under the terms of the collective agreement.
