Responsibilities:

As a part-time Accounting Technician, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Supervising the work of the accounting clerk
  • Reporting to the VP of Administration and Finance
  • Journal entry
  • Payroll preparation
  • Verifying the work of the accounting clerk (ensuring invoices are saved and documented)
  • Conducting bank reconciliations

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you must have the following qualifications:

  • Fluency in French and English is mandatory
  • Solid accounting experience
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Preferably, be a CPA
  • Experience in supervising administrative personnel
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Communication and reporting skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
