Associate Manager, Reporting and Analytics, Enterprise Risk Strategy and Technology Advisory Permanent full‑time position at Canada Life. The Associate Manager reports to the Director of Enterprise Risk Management and supports and leads data analysis, report development, and risk analytics for a global community of risk, compliance and audit professionals. Key Responsibilities Become familiar with datasets from multiple sources. Analyze complex datasets to deliver key insights for the business. Design, develop, and maintain dynamic dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI). Enable data‑driven decision‑making by collaborating with various business teams. Automate reporting and analytics processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. Support recurring and ad hoc analytical needs. Analyze and support performance enhancements for reporting platforms and workspaces. Support and manage workspace access governance, performance and maintenance. Assist with incident management and access reviews for GRC and reporting platforms. Support system‑related initiatives such as upgrades, new system rollouts, and integration projects. Collaborate with business partners to translate high‑level requirements into meaningful analytics. Provide training and support on developed reports, BI tools and system best practices, continuously refining materials for better adoption. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver optimal data and system solutions, driving efficiency and scalability through continuous improvement. Promote innovation by recommending process enhancements and automation to optimize workflows. Qualifications Degree or diploma in Data Analytics, Computer Science, System Integration, Finance, Business Computing, Business Analysis, or equivalent. Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Python is an asset. Strong analytical skills and a creative, solution‑focused mindset. Ability to work independently with minimal direction. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work. Strong planning and organizational skills; able to manage multiple complex tasks and meet tight deadlines. Collaborative team player with the ability to build strong business relationships. Understanding of data governance, quality assurance, and security practices. Understanding of data visualization best practices and how to apply them to meet stakeholder needs. Understanding of how AI tools can support work on reporting and data analysis, recognising the need to manage limitations and ensure outputs meet quality and compliance standards. Compensation Base salary: $63,500–$117,400 per year. (This figure represents base salary only and does not include other variable components such as annual bonus or commission.)
