This role combines technical agronomy expertise with strategic business development to drive growth in the region.**Key Responsibilities****Sales & Business Growth*** Maintain and strengthen existing sales within the region.* Develop and execute strategies to achieve year-over-year sales growth.* Identify and pursue new customer opportunities within the territory.* Build and sustain long-term relationships with retailers, and growers.**Agronomy & Technical Support*** Conduct on-farm grower trials to demonstrate product performance and generate regional data.* Provide agronomic and crop fertility training to customers, dealers, and internal teams.* Offer technical support and product recommendations based on local soil, crop, and environmental conditions.**Strategic Planning*** Develop and implement a business strategy for the region aligned with company goals.* Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform business decisions.**Collaboration & Teamwork*** Work closely with sales, marketing, and agronomy teams to coordinate regional initiatives.* Contribute to team meetings, product launches, and seasonal sales programs.**Travel*** Limited overnight travel within the region to meet customers, conduct field visits, and attend industry events as required.**Qualifications & Skills*** Proven experience in agricultural sales, agronomy, or crop input distribution.* Strong knowledge of crop fertility, soil science, and crop production systems.* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.* Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven with the ability to work independently.* Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate across departments.* Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.**Preferred Education*** Diploma or degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Science, or a related field.**Compensation and Benefits:*** The base compensation for this position ranges from $79,800 - $117,090. Note that wages may vary based on location, skills, and experience.* This position is eligible for a yearly bonus, vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, retirement plans, and other benefits.
