Position Overview
Intrahealth is looking for a high-energy Senior Technical Operations Analyst. As a Senior Technical Operations Analyst, you will assist in monitoring and maintaining the operational health of technology systems and applications. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, implementing solutions, and working closely with various teams to ensure the seamless operation of our solutions. The role will also contribute to the development and optimization of operational processes and procedures, aiming to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
Our ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain server environments including installation, configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting of software.
- Monitor server performance and ensure system availability and reliability by conducting routine audits of systems and software, monitoring backups, and scheduling updates or upgrades.
- Implement security measures for communication systems, networks, and provide technical support for security issues.
- Troubleshoot network and system issues with complex server environments and work with team members to resolve issues effectively.
- Perform server-side configurations and system management tasks for databases, application servers, and web servers.
- Collaborate with the security and infrastructure team to fortify server systems against unauthorized access and potential security threats.
- Document systems and configuration changes and system standards.
- Assist with the design of new applications from a server and network architecture perspective.
- Provide training and guidance to users on new systems, features, and best practices.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending tools and strategies to enhance operational effectiveness.
Requirements
- BSc/BA or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of industry experience.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and server architectures.
- Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management.
- Strong understanding of SQL Server administration and the ability to write simple SQL queries.
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, or others.
- Ability to understand and interpret complex technical documentation.
- Ability to solve complex and ambiguous technical problems using experience, creativity, and sound judgment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
